Bachelor Design in FD is a four year Bachelor degree programme, specializing in fashion design. The word ‘fashion’ today interprets various types of experimental lifestyles concerned with the well-being of our society. Our notions of ‘fashion’ and clothing are multidimensional, ever changing and creative. The discipline of Fashion Design provides in-depth academic inputs and avenues for an exciting career that specializes into multifaceted genre of ‘fashion’. The culmination of the yearning of western styles merges with the Indian potential of creativity which results into a whole new genre of fashion ideas. The career in fashion designing starts as a trainee designer , fashion merchandisers, retail buyers & planners after the completion of respective courses and later enters into higher stages of fashion industry. The basic instinct of artistic nature, creative mind with excellent talent in making sketches and a good sense of choosing colors suitable for the need, etc. are the necessary attributes for an aspiring fashion designer.
