Programme Overview:

M.Sc. Mathematics is a postgraduate course based on the study of all branches of Mathematics. The course duration is of two years. Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, and change. Mathematicians seek out patterns and formulate new conjectures which resolve the truth or falsity of conjectures by mathematical proofs. It comprises a broad variety of modules in chemistry from among which students can choose to specialize in any. Some of those subjects are: Probability and Statistics, Partial Differential Equations, Topology, Discrete Mathematics, Stochastic Process, Continuum Mechanics, and Tensor Analysis among others.

There are different specializations that one can pursue in M.Sc Mathematics programme.
