The global reach of the internet, the low marginal cost of online activity, and the relative anonymity of users have contributed to a wide escalation in cyber crimes. Consequently, information and communications technologies are being increasingly employed to instigate threats to the global civil society. This course provides an overview of cyber crime and the cyber law enforcement practices put in place to respond to them.
Various organizations today need lawyers or legal assistants with proper knowledge of cyber law for expert legal services and advice. Cyber Lawyer may either work with law agencies, Government or Private organizations or be self-employed. The students of this course also have career prospects in IT companies, Specialists in Cyber/ IT Based Arbitration, Security Computer Auditors, Techno-legal Professionals in Computer Security.
